Our services

what we do

We deliver knowledge to build a bridge between theory and practice.

The possibility to be both in the office and in the field, gives the UiD Foundation the necessary tools to fill this knowledge gap. This gap has to be bridged in order to establish effective policies and projects. Where other research institutes have to choose between the field and the office, we choose both, to strengthen social cohesion.

For who we do it

Policy makers, project developers, government institutions, research institutes, municipalities can come to us for our services.

Those who ultimately gain from our services is the public.

About UiD

In 2017, Marije Luitjens (MSc) and Laura Sofie van der Reijden (MA) started the UiD Foundation, with the aim of bridging (possibly harmful) differences in society. Esther Schoorel (MSc) joined as a director in 2022. UiD Foundation focuses on gathering and spreading more knowledge about the workings of projects and campagnes around social cohesion, resilience, de-polarisation and community-building. The UiD Foundation therefore specifically focusses on research concerning these topics, hoping to contribute to a less polarised world.
